How could I have taken so long to write a second post?

It is now past the middle of June and here I go on post 2.   That is really not the way I wanted this to work out.  I read my first few paragraphs and can proudly say that I have all of those tasks done! (Almost)  I still have to stain a floor and put up some base trim.   Then I will be done with list one.  I think I might talk Mary into letting me have her room for a place to keep all my stuff!   She has been giving me a list of requests to bargain away her space.   My favorite is that I have to do something fun with her and a friend every Saturday for the rest of her childhood.   She is creative!  This day will be the day to start project upstairs.   Five rooms, bathroom, and 6 closets need to be weeded and cleaned up.  A few coats of paint on trim and doors is desperately needed.   Maybe I will be ready to do my third post around the end of August.   I am going to try, try and try to write sooner.   Attached is a finished picture of Marc Chagall's "The Promenade"

Opening Day

Brainstorming today at my computer, I decided to start this blog.   What a better way for me to journal about daily life and share pictures, ideas, projects, recipes, thoughts, opinions, stories and record all the funny things Greta says.
Day 1

I just got home from the coffee shop and I need to get going on home projects.   I think this might motivate me having a visual list.   The tasks of the day include putting a couple coats of paint on the dishwasher cabinet panel (thanks to Seth), then I need to get stain for Mary's new wood floor (thanks to Tony), and I have some new shelves to get hung out in the garage.   Mary's room also needs new base trim that I will be tackling soon.   The fun project on the horizon in the long awaited completion of my recreation of one of Marc Chagall's paintings.   It is currently on my living room table ready for assembly.

Off to Home Depot I go to get my supplies.  I went to Lowes last night and forgot three things, so I thought I would go to a different store to mix it up.  Welcome to All Anjanette!   I am guessing that Anjanette will be the only one reading it.
